Yes, yes—all right, then: last Pokémon-related spiel, I promise…but I simply must babble excitedly about the upcoming instalments. They’re trying to reboot the franchise—honest!—and even though one of the monsters looks suspiciously like a monkey made of broccoli, I can only see good times ahead. I’m loving the renewable solar-power aesthetic they’ve got going. Totally diggin’ Ash’s new threads, too. You might say they’re “hip.” Radical, even.
Not the broccoli chimp, though; that’s a tragedy. Fire Pig’s gonna roast the monkey. Oh yes.

I'm Jack. Sometimes my hair is untidy, riddled with goblins and smurfs. When I scream into the Grand Canyon, it inspires pained howling in wild dogs and wily coyotes, and compels all leaf-eating mammals to scuttle for higher ground in wait of the great flood. I think Goku is an existential paragon. My life's trajectory is adjusted towards becoming a hermit and dying alone somewhere on top of a golden mountain at sunset.
